Playbill Fact Sheet

The Pembroke Hill Playbill is an 80-page glossy four-color publication that serves as the program for all Pembroke Hill cultural events.  In its ninth year of publication, the 5.5”x 8.5” Playbill has raised over $150,000 in advertising revenue and ticket trade since its inception in 2001.  The Playbill is distributed at all performing and visual arts events throughout the school year.  These nearly 30 performances range from dance to music to theater and fine arts.  Our Playbill is believed to be the only publication of its kind in the Kansas City area that profiles programs and artistic accomplishments of children in early childhood through upper school grades.  This attractive, high quality publication includes information about performing arts programs at the school, student activities and accomplishments, a calendar of events and advertisements.

The Pembroke Hill School, located on two campuses in Kansas City, Mo., is Kansas City’s leading independent school serving more than 1,100 students.  The school families reside in both Kansas and Missouri - mostly in Jackson and Johnson counties. However students live in 85 different zip codes.  Pembroke Hill maintains a longstanding commitment to integrating the arts into its educational curriculum from early childhood through upper school.

Income gained from the Playbill’s advertising sales support efforts to enhance student participation in all forms of the arts, as well as to build a lifelong appreciation for and enjoyment of the arts.

Benefits From Advertising:

Companies, organizations and individuals who purchase space in the 2009-10 edition of the Playbill will have the opportunity to convey their message to approximately 5,000 audience members at the school’s arts events for the entire school year.  The Pembroke Hill community encompasses a unique balance of occupations and income levels from a wide geographic area.
