Centennial Hall
Centennial Hall on the Ward Parkway campus, opening in 2008-09, is an impressive 28,000-square-foot structure designed by the architects at Peter Gisolfi Associates. The interior of the loft-like building features many open spaces, hard surfaces and large windows to provide natural light. The beautiful two-story entry includes plenty of space for the display of artwork and a 225-seat theater.
The classrooms were designed specifically for the needs of particular disciplines within the arts. There is a dance studio and a special area for vocal and instrumental music. The hallway in the music area is lined with lockers for convenient instrument storage. The Electronics Imagery class gathers in a room with computer stations outfitted for this purpose. A darkroom is also included for students who are studying photography.
