Pembroke Hill students will be performing in several music events this week, including the middle school’s winter concert, instrumental music night and the upper school’s annual Messiah concert.
On Wednesday, Dec. 5, students will perform for the Instrumental Music Night at 7 p.m. in Centennial Hall.
On Friday, Dec. 7, the middle school will hold its winter concert at 7:30 p.m. in Hall Student Center Auditorium. Students will sing classical and seasonal choir repertoire, as well as participate in a candlelight processional.
Then, the middle school choir will sing at the Kansas City Chorale Youth Concert on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. at Visitation Church.
On Sunday, Dec. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m., upper school students will perform the Messiah at Village Presbyterian Church. About 118 students are participating in the school’s 51st performance of the Messiah. Guest soloists are Sarah Tannehill Anderson (soprano), Kristee Haney (mezzo soprano), David Adams (tenor) and Joshua Lawlor (bass).
