Congratulations to senior Momin Tahirkheli who was named a semifinalist for the United States Presidential Scholars Program.

From nearly 3.5 million graduating students, 723 semifinalists were selected. The program was established in 1964 by executive order of the president to recognize and honor distinguished high school seniors who demonstrated exceptional academic, artistic or technical ability and achievement.

Over 5,100 students were named candidates for the program. Momin and senior Shannon Fang were selected as candidates earlier this year.

Congratulations, Momin!
