The Pembroke Hill community enjoyed experiencing the solar eclipse together on Monday, Aug. 21. Students on both campuses, along with faculty and staff, put on their safety glasses to observe the movement of the moon in front of the sun. (The early childhood school children enjoyed the event from inside their building.)

Even though Pembroke Hill was not in the path of the total solar eclipse, the clouds cleared and everyone had a chance to watch the progression of this amazing eclipse!

Lower school homeroom teachers presented educational information to their students during the morning, and the middle and upper schools hosted special assemblies during which they shared information about the event and how to safely watch the eclipse.
