Congratulations to sophomore Eliza Shaffer on winning the upper school Poetry Out Loud competition Tuesday, Jan. 9. Eliza will head to the regional competition Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Lucille H. Bluford branch of the Kansas City Public Library. She will compete with other local high school students for a chance to move on to the state competition in March. Good luck, Eliza!
