Strategic Plan
Pembroke Hill School completed a Strategic Plan , Connections, which was approved by the Board of Trustees in June 2005. This document includes five strategic initiatives: Curriculum, Instruction and Learning; Professional Community; School Relationships; Diversity; and Resource Stewardship. Goals have also been developed for each of the strategic initiatives.
The Strategic Plan is a living document at Pembroke Hill; it guides our decision making on a daily basis. Each spring, the Board of Trustees reviews the Strategic Plan and progress made toward its goals.
Curriculum, Instruction and Learning
We will foster in our students the joy of learning, the love of discovery, the confidence to grow, and a sense of responsibility and respect for others consistent with the college preparatory mission of the school.
Professional Community
We will accomplish our school’s mission by maintaining a community of exceptional faculty, administration and staff who embody a love of children, teaching and learning.
School Relationships
We will promote respectful and effective community relationships both on and off campus to fulfill our mission of educational excellence.
Diversity
We will create and maintain an inclusive community that welcomes, respects, values and benefits from individual differences; this initiative will be reflected through our policies, educational programs, activities and daily practices.
Resource Stewardship
We will effectively use, manage and improve our physical, technological and financial resources to support our mission and goals.
