Lunch Program


The Pembroke Hill School has worked with Flik Independent School Dining for the past five years, and is committed to serving healthy and seasonal offerings at the school.

Flik offers daily, freshly-made items such as homemade soups, an extensive and varied salad bar with an assortment of low-fat homemade dressings, a variety of different fruits and vegetables, low-fat milk options, vegan and vegetarian foods, “choice” grade meat or higher, and a deli station to make sandwiches. In addition to these items, Flik also serves a variety of different hot menu items ranging from homemade pizza and caesar salad to honey chicken and vegetable stir-fry.

Flik also serves minimal desserts on both the Wornall and Ward Parkway campuses, and serves fried food only twice per month. Sorbet and frozen yogurt are offered on the Ward Parkway campus. When possible, Flik integrates ethnic, cultural and religious foods into daily offerings.


For kindergartners or first graders who are less adventurous in their food choices, we offer some daily standard options.

Wednesday - Cheese Sandwich
Thursday - Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla
