ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURES HAVE CHANGED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION
Students of all ages should be dropped off at the 51st Street loading zone. When dropping off students, please exit riders on the curbside of the car. In the driveway, there are three lanes: the two outside lanes are for unloading and loading and the center lane is reserved for passing only. Drivers must remain in their cars and proceed through the loading lane lines. Please do not leave parked cars in the lane. Do not use the center lane to drop-off, pick-up or wait for children.
SUMMER AT PEMBROKE HILL- CELEBRATING 80 YEARS OF SUMMER!
The Pembroke Hill School was created on a foundation constructed from quality education, values, diversity and traditions. Ever since the first doors opened at the Country Day School in 1910, the members of Country Day, Pembroke-Country Day, Sunset Hill and The Pembroke Hill School have sought to create one of the finest independent school in the Midwest. For the past 80 years, the summer program, that began on the grounds of the Pembroke-Country Day School in 1934, has shared in that vision.
The Summer at Pembroke Hill program is dedicated to providing a unique learning experience in a meaningful and inspiring environment. Our 12-week comprehensive summer camp is open to all students ages 2-18 in the Kansas City community. Small classes, taught mostly by Pembroke Hill faculty, offers students from early childhood to eighth grade a variety of enriching and academic classes, while classes for upper school students foster an environment of academic excellence by offering classes such as SAT/PSAT Preparation and Writing the College Application Essay.
Designed to accommodate your family’s busy schedule, Summer at Pembroke Hill offers flexibility by allowing you to enroll in any of the weeks you choose. Last year, more than 1000 students were enrolled in our program. So whether you are viewing our catalog for the first time, or plan to return for another summer of excitement and fun, I would like to personally invite you to join us this summer as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Summer at Pembroke Hill program.
