Student Honors
Academics
In the Class of 2024, the National Merit Scholarship Program honored 10 Pembroke Hill seniors as Semifinalists. Semifinalists represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
In addition, three seniors were recognized as Commended students, and two seniors were named either National Hispanic or African American Scholars.
The Pembroke Hill upper and middle school Science Olympiad teams have a great legacy of competing in the national tournament. Since 2010, the upper school team has qualified for nationals in 12 of 14 years and 30 times in total! In 2023, the team secured 35th place in the tournament out of 60 schools. The middle school Science Olympiad team has qualified for nationals 11 out of the last 14 years, and finished in 16th place last year out of 60 schools.
