David, a trailblazer in his extended family as the first to earn a four-year college degree, is passionate about guiding students through pivotal decisions about their academic futures. With 35 years of experience in college counseling and admissions, he has dedicated 25 years to Pembroke Hill. A Dartmouth College graduate with a major in government and history, David previously worked in Dartmouth’s Admissions Office and held key roles at Woodward Academy and The Lovett School. His multifaceted contributions at Pembroke Hill include teaching AP U.S. Government, serving as assistant division head, academic dean, curriculum coordinator, and achieving success as the varsity boys’ golf coach, clinching Missouri state championships in 2019 and 2023. David has been an integral part of the Common Application Board of Directors and served as Board Chair for ACCIS (Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools). Alongside his wife, Diane, he takes pride in being the parent of three Pembroke Hill graduates: Matt ’15, Maggie ’17, and Ellie ‘20.
