Season Recap
The Raiders baseball team put together a phenomenal season, racking up a 16-13 record and battling its way to a hard-fought second-place finish in districts. The squad proved they were just as lethal in the classroom as they were on the diamond, proudly boasting an incredible six Academic All-State members and eight All-Conference honors. Further highlighting their stellar season, three players earned All-District and All-State honors, and Jack Passan ’26 was named MVP of the Senior All-Star Series Class 4 vs. Class 3 game.

Varsity Head Coach Bio
Jeff Diskin is the head coach of the Raider Baseball team, a position he has held for 22 of his 28 years at the school. During his tenure, the team has won 4 district titles. Jeff is also in his 13th full season with the Kansas City Royals, currently serving as the Director of Professional and Sport Development. He previously held several roles with the Royals, including Senior Director of Professional and Community Development (2021-22), Director of Professional Development (2018-20), and Coordinator of Cultural Development (2013-18).
Jeff played baseball at Shawnee Mission West and Baker University before going on to play professionally in the Dutch Professional Baseball League. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Baker University and a master’s in business administration from Pittsburg State University.
