Season Recap
The baseball team delivered a powerhouse season with an impressive 22-7 record, claiming the Crossroads Conference Championship! Multiple players earned top honors, including All-Conference, All-District, All-State, and Academic All-State selections—highlighting excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Coaching Staff
Varsity Head Coach Bio
Jeff Diskin is the head coach of the Raider Baseball team, a position he has held for 22 of his 28 years at the school. During his tenure, the team has won 4 district titles. Jeff is also in his 13th full season with the Kansas City Royals, currently serving as the Director of Professional and Sport Development. He previously held several roles with the Royals, including Senior Director of Professional and Community Development (2021-22), Director of Professional Development (2018-20), and Coordinator of Cultural Development (2013-18).
Jeff played baseball at Shawnee Mission West and Baker University before going on to play professionally in the Dutch Professional Baseball League. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Baker University and a master’s in business administration from Pittsburg State University.
