Boys Basketball
Season Recap
The boys basketball team took on a challenging 2023-24 schedule, battling top-ranked teams from Kansas and Missouri’s 6A division. Despite the tough competition, the Raiders showcased resilience and determination, securing key wins over Liberty North and Jefferson City, as well as conference victories against St. Michael the Archangel and Van Horn.

Varsity Head Coach Bio
Jeff Hawkins serves as the head varsity boys basketball coach and a lower school P.E. teacher. Since taking over as head coach in the 2020-21 season, he has led the Raiders to three district championships and back-to-back Final Four appearances, cementing the program’s status as a powerhouse.
A former University of Kansas point guard, Jeff played under legendary coaches Roy Williams and Bill Self from 2001-2006. He earned his bachelor's degree in communication studies from KU before beginning his coaching career. Prior to joining Pembroke Hill, he spent four years as the head varsity basketball coach at Perry-Lecompton and has played a key role in developing basketball talent in Lawrence, Kan., and across the Kansas City metropolitan area.
