Congratulations to five PHS seniors who have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program as Commended Students. They join 15 of their classmates who were previously named Semifinalists. In total, 19 percent of seniors have been recognized by National Merit this year. Additionally, the College Board named one PHS student a National Hispanic Scholar.
