Sandra Rodriguez, early childhood faculty assistant, will take over the role of director of parent programs on July 1. Debbie Treglia, who previously held this position, has become the director of alumni relations and special events.

Before joining the early childhood school in August, Sandra had been associated with the Kansas City Repertory Theatre for 22 years where she served as the volunteer coordinator and assistant house manager. Her responsibilities included managing nearly 300 volunteers, coordinating special events and supervising staff members in the front of house, concessions and merchandise sales.

“Sandra is a very warm, inviting and kind person,” explained Doreen Rice, director of advancement. “She brings impressive skills to the role, along with her familiarity with our school and our community.”

Sandra said, “I look forward to working with Pembroke Hill families. I am excited to help facilitate the many events and traditions scheduled throughout the year which encourage individuals to meet, create relationships and build community.”

A native of Colombia, Sandra is a native Spanish speaker who has a strong commitment to diversity and celebrating the many different cultures represented at Pembroke Hill. “I have always had a global awareness which I think is important to share with others,” she said.

Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in art and art history from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and has undertaken graduate studies in contemporary Latin American art.

Congratulations, Sandra!
