Congratulations to our four upper school artists who were recently honored at Kansas City area art events.

Sophomore Shelby Lamping and junior Rachel Legg, regional Scholastic Art and Writing gold medalists, received their awards at a reception at the Kansas City Art Institute Crossroads gallery Saturday, March 24. Additionally, Rachel's drawing received a National Silver Medal from the Scholastic Art and Writing competition.


Seniors Jane Markley and Julia Rosher were honored at the Arts Council of Johnson County Shooting Stars Awards Sunday, March 25. Jane was named a finalist in the two-dimensional art category, and Julia took first place in the photography category.
