The Pembroke Hill Parent Association's Diversity and Parent Education Committee launches a new parent program called PEM Talks, to bring parents together to share experiences about raising children.
The Pembroke Hill Parent Association's Diversity and Parent Education Committee is launching a new program called PEM Talks - Parent Engagement Meetings: Building Community Through Conversations. These are school-wide presentations, followed by grade-level conversations, that intend to bring parents together to share and learn from each other’s experiences in raising children.
The first PEM Talk will be on Raising Resilient Kids: Parenting in the Digital Age by Dr. Natasha Burgert, today, Jan. 18, at 6:30 p.m., in Centennial Hall. Follow-up conversations on this topic will be held for PHS parents during the week of Jan. 22.

Dr. Natasha Burgert is a mom, pediatrician, blogger, educator and national spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
