Upper School Students Place Second At Chinese Speech Contest

Congratulations to junior Leon Lin and sophomore Jam Navarro on placing second in their respective categories at the Chinese Speech Contest 2018 on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Johnson County Community College.

Leon took second in the Division III D category for heritage speakers, while Jam secured second in the Division III B category for Chinese Level II students.

​​​​The contest was sponsored by The Confucius Institute of the University of Kansas, in partnership with The Center for East Asian Studies of the University of Kansas and The Kansas City Chinese American Association. Great job, Leon and Jam!
