The boys tennis team took second place at the PHS doubles tournament Saturday. The girls soccer team went 1-1 in the KC Classic soccer tournament last week. The varsity baseball team remains unbeaten after winning a doubleheader on Saturday. These results and more are in the Weekend Raider Update for April 8.

Boys Tennis
The varsity boys tennis team hosted the PHS Doubles Tournament on Saturday, April 6. The team took second place in the competition. The boys also defeated St. Thomas Aquinas, 9-0, on Friday, April 5. The Raiders return to action Thursday, April 11, at Park Hill.

Girls Soccer
The varsity girls soccer team went 1-1 in the KC Classic soccer tournament last week. The team upended Barstow, 7-0, in its first game, then lost a hard fought battle to St. Pius X, 1-0. The Raiders' final game in the Classic versus Kansas City East Christian was moved to April 29. The girls play Friday, April 12, versus Harrisonville.

Baseball
The varsity baseball teams continues to roll through its schedule, as it defeated Lee's Summit in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 6. The team defeated the Tigers in extra innings in the first game, 13-11, and won the second game 5-4. The Raiders will try to stay unbeaten as they play host to St. Michael the Archangel on Tuesday, April 9.

Track and Field
The varsity track and field team competed in the Kearney Invitational on Friday, April 5. Freshman Anisa Arrington placed seventh in the 200m, and eighth in the 100m races. The boys 4x800m team set a season PR and improved by 5 seconds. Freshman Josh Shaw also set a season PR in the shot put and discus. Well done, Raiders!

Girls Lacrosse
The varsity girls lacrosse team lost two games last week, to St. Thomas Aquinas 9-3, and to St. James Academy 18-5. The girls return to action Monday, April 8, at home versus Olathe Club. 

Boys Lacrosse
The varsity boys lacrosse team lost a close game to Rockhurst, 10-8, on Wednesday April 3. The boys try to notch a victory Tuesday, April 9, at home versus Lee's Summit West.

Boys Golf
The varsity boys golf team pulled out a huge win at the Blue Valley Northwest tournament Monday, April 1, at Lionsgate. Sophomore Eddie Fromm took fifth place and freshman Ryan Lee secured seventh place in the competition. The team competes Monday, April 8, at Oakwood Country Club.
