The girls swimming and diving team took 11th place at the Independence Invitational. Both varsity boys and girls basketball teams lost at home. The varsity wrestling team competed in Sedalia. Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Dec. 17, 2018.

Girls Swimming and Diving
The varsity girls swimming and diving team secured 11th place at the Independence Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 15. The 200-yard medley relay team of Audrey Lu, Emily Dickey, Arrington Ossie and Summer Kelly took 11th place. The team also garnered 8th place in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Emily placed 16th in the 50-yard freestyle race. The team travels to Columbia Friday and Saturday, Jan. 4-5, 2019, to compete in the CoMo Invitational.

Boys Basketball
The varsity boys basketball team lost a close contest to Lincoln Prep, 67-63, to close out the year on Friday, Dec. 14. The team will try to get their third win of the season Thursday, Jan. 3, at St. Michael the Archangel.

Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team lost a tough game to Lincoln Prep, 102-28, on Friday, Dec. 14. The team returns to action Friday, Jan. 4, against Southeast.

Wrestling
The varsity wrestling team competed in Sedalia Friday and Saturday, Dec. 14-15. Freshman Josh Shaw won two matches in the tournament, and sophomore Ben Graves won a match. The team competes Saturday, Jan. 5, in Excelsior Springs. Senior night will be held Thursday, Jan. 10, in Phillips Gym.
