Weekend Raider Update: Dec. 4, 2017

The varsity girls basketball team took seventh place at the Winnetonka Tournament. The varsity wrestling team placed fifth at the Lone Jack Tournament.

Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Dec. 4:

Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team secured seventh place in the Winnetonka tournament over the weekend. The team lost to Platte County, 64-28, and Lee's Summit, 45-40, and defeated the Park Hill JV squad, 49-48. The team next plays Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Sumner Academy.

The varsity boys wrestling took fifth place out of 15 schools at the Lone Jack tournament Saturday. Junior George Embry placed first at 145 pounds. Seniors Nick Pallotto and Charlie Fromm captured second place at 160 and 170 pounds, respectively. The team next competes Thursday, Dec. 7, at West Platte High School. Boys Basketball
The varsity boys basketball team grabbed eighth place at the Van Horn tournament over the weekend. The team went 1-1 in the tournament. The team lost to Schlagle, 71-42, lost to Central Academy of Excellence, 66-52, and lost to Van Horn, 63-61. The team plays at home Thursday, Dec. 7, against Lutheran.

Football All-District Honors Announced
The Missouri Football Coaches Association announced its all-district teams at the organization's convention over the weekend. Congratulations to the following student-athletes:
