Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Jan. 22, 2018.

Boys Basketball
The varsity basketball team took eighth place at the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints Classic Jan. 18-20. The team lost to Mill Valley, 76-48, in the seventh place game on Saturday, Jan. 20. The team next plays Friday, Jan. 26, against Grandview Christian School.

Girls Swimming and Diving
The varsity swimming and diving team secured fourth place at the Lewis Central Invitational in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Senior Caroline Salzman finished in first place in the 50-yard freestyle, and second place in the 100-yard freestyle competition. The 200-yard freestyle relay team placed fourth, and the 400-yard freestyle relay team obtained fifth place in the competition. The team competes Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the Winnetonka Duals. 

Dance
The varsity dance team placed fifth at the Lee's Summit North Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 20. The team will dance at the William Jewell competition Saturday, Feb. 3. 

Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team defeated Cristo Rey, 58-43, on Thursday, Jan. 18. The team will play Thursday, Jan. 25, against Van Horn.

Wrestling
The varsity wrestling team went 0-2 in Cameron on Tuesday, Jan. 16, losing to Cameron and South Harrison. The team will compete Tuesday, Jan. 23, in Savannah, then host Senior Night Wednesday, Jan. 24.
