The varsity dance team took fourth place in its pom routine at the Lee's Summit North Invitational. Three girls divers made state consideration dive scores at the Glendale Diving Invitational. Dance
The varsity dance team competed in the Lee’s Summit North Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 26. The girls took fourth place in their pom routine, which qualified them for state. The team competes in the SugarBear Invitational Feb. 9, at Missouri State University. 

Girls Swimming and Diving
Varsity girls divers traveled to Springfield for the Glendale Diving Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 26. Senior Gaby Bortnick earned her highest score of the season, 328.60, and finished in sixth place in the competition. Senior Alexandra Copaken also recorded her highest score this year, 315.15, and took 11th place. Senior Emily Dickey secured 14th place in the competition with a 302.39. Additionally, all three divers’ scores made the state consideration dive cut. The team competes Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Central Academy of Excellence.

Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team lost a nail-biter to Van Horn, 44-42, last Thursday, Jan. 24. The team returns to the hardwood Tuesday, Jan. 29, against Metro Academy.

Boys Basketball
The varsity boys basketball team lost to Grandview Christian School, 85-46, on Friday, Jan. 25. The team plays Tuesday, Jan. 29, against Metro Academy.
 

Middle School

Middle School Night
Middle School Night turned into a huge success for the three eighth grade basketball teams who competed Friday night, Jan. 25, in Phillips Gym. All three teams won their games against Bishop Seabury. Additionally, the players' classmates came out and supported the teams, and enjoyed several activities throughout the evening.

Sixth Grade Boys Basketball
The sixth grade boys basketball red team defeated Hyman Brand on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The eighth grade boys basketball red team won at Hyman Brand on Saturday, Jan. 26.
