Pembroke Hill is in the thick of the spring sports postseason! The varsity boys golf team won the Missouri Class 3 State Championship. The varsity boys tennis team will compete in the Missouri Class 1 state championships. Baseball and girls soccer play in sectionals this week. The boys lacrosse team will play in the Lacrosse Association of Kansas City's Final Four. The varsity track and field team is competing at sectionals. Boys Golf
The varsity boys golf team capped off an impressive season with the Missouri Class 3 State Championship on Tuesday. The team shot a combined 614, 19 strokes ahead of second place MICDS. In addition, freshman Ryan Lee took home first place in the individual competition, winning by two strokes (146). Junior Robert Green roared back on the second day to finish tied for third place.

Boys Tennis
The varsity boys tennis team will compete in the Missouri Class 1 state championships Thursday to Saturday, May 23-25. The team defeated Marshall, 5-0, in sectionals, then defeated Trenton, 5-0, to move on to the state semifinals. The doubles teams of seniors Logan Stevens/Nathan Turtledove and sophomores Jimmy Andrews/Henry Stevens won their sectional matches and will play in individual doubles at state. Sophomore Aarav Yarlagadda lost in his singles sectional match. 

Girls Soccer
The varsity girls soccer team won the Missouri Class 2 District 13 championship on Tuesday, May 14, defeating host Center, 5-0. The team plays rival St. Pius X on Monday, May 20, at 5 p.m., at PHS. Come out and support our Raiders!

Baseball
The varsity baseball team won the Missouri Class 4 District 14 championship on Wednesday, May 15, defeating Center, 10-0. The team moves on to sectionals to play Odessa Tuesday, May 21, at 5:30 p.m., in Odessa.

Track and Field
Sophomore Hadley Jetmore and the girls 4x400m relay team competed for a spot at state on a rainy Saturday, May 18, at the Missouri Class 3 Sectional 4 in Odessa. Hadley took home first place in both the pole vault and 400m race, and captured second in the 200m. She will move on to compete in the Missouri Class 3 championships in all three events. Due to the weather, the girls 4x400m relay team, consisting of freshman Anisa Arrington, Hadley, sophomore Mia Randolph and freshman Sophie van Zanten, are running at sectionals Monday, May 20. The state championships will be held in Jefferson City May 24-25. 

Boys Lacrosse
The varsity boys lacrosse team defeated Blue Valley West, 13-9, on Thursday, May 16. The team moves on to the Final Four to play Rockhurst Wednesday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m., at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
