Weekend Raider Update: Nov. 5, 2018

The varsity boys soccer team makes it to the state semifinals. The varsity football team plays for the Class 3 District 7 title on Friday, Nov. 9.

Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Nov. 5, 2018.

Boys Soccer
The varsity boys soccer team is headed to the Missouri State Class 2 semifinals with a huge 2-0 victory over St. Pius X on Saturday, Nov. 3. The team will face the St. Charles West Warriors on Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m., at the World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo.

The varsity football team took another step to the district title on Friday, defeating Hogan Preparatory Academy 14-12. The undefeated Raiders face the Odessa Bulldogs in the Class 3 District 7 title game Friday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m., in Odessa.

Cross Country
The boys cross country team, and girls runners senior Daniela Rodriguez-Chavez and freshman Ella Palmet, competed in the Missouri State Class 3 Championships on Saturday, Nov. 3, in Jefferson City. The boys team took 16th place in the competition. Senior Coleman Gliddon captured 74th place; sophomore Jackson Chu took home 111th place; and senior Thomas Way seized 114th place. In the girls race, Ella secured 126th place and Daniela grabbed 134th place.

Boys Swimming and Diving
The boys swimming and diving team will send four swimmers to the Missouri State Class 1 Championships on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10, at the City of St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo.  

Congratulations to our state swimmers:

  • 200-yard freestyle relay (junior Jared Cambier, sophomore Luke Donovan, junior Will Grant  and sophomore Nick Trainor)
  • Will - 50-yard freestyle 
  • Nick - 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle
