Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Sept. 24, 2018.

Volleyball
The varsity volleyball team traveled to Cass-Midway for their annual tournament Saturday, Sept. 22. The team brought home the first place trophy, going undefeated in the tournament. The team will celebrate its seniors on Senior Night Thursday, Sept. 27.

Football
The varsity football team remained unbeaten (5-0), defeating Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, 28-6. The team play in the Gold-Out Game in support of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital on Friday, Sept. 28, against Forsyth.

Field Hockey
The varsity field hockey held its eighth annual Breast Cancer Awareness game on Sunday, Sept. 23. The varsity team tied Nerinx Hall of St. Louis in regulation and went into a shootout. The team went on to bring home the victory with a 4-1 victory. The team travels to Oklahoma to play Casady and Holland Hall.

Cross Country
The varsity boys cross country team took ninth place at the Rim Rock Invitational Saturday, Sept. 23, in Lawrence. Senior Coleman Gliddon took 21st place and senior Thomas Way secured 24th place out of 400 runners. The varsity girls team placed 31st in its race. Both teams will compete at the  

Boys Soccer
The varsity boys soccer team scored in the last five seconds and defeated East High School, 1-0, Friday, Sept. 21. The team returns to action Thursday, Sept. 27, against Blue Springs.

Girls Tennis
The varsity girls tennis team defeated rival Barstow, 9-0, on Thursday, Sept. 20. The team hosts its annual Senior Night Monday, Sept. 24. Activities will start after the team's match against Lee's Summit West.
