11 Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists; Six Students Identified As African American/Hispanic Scholars
Andrew Mouzin

Congratulations to our 11 seniors who were named National Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Additionally, six students were identified as College Board National African American and Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars.

Our National Merit Semifinalists represent 10 percent of the 105-member senior class. Approximately 16,000 students have been recognized as Semifinalists. This represents  1 percent of high school seniors. Over 15,000 of these Semifinalists are expected to be named Finalists in February.

Our College Board Scholars received honors based on their remarkable academic achievements and outstanding performance on the PSAT and/or AP exams.
