Every year, Pembroke Hill hosts a school-wide food drive with Harvesters, working as a community to gift families with meals during the holiday season.

This school-wide initiative begins next Monday, Nov. 7, and runs through Friday, Nov. 18. Click here to watch a video regarding the food drive.

Harvesters’ barrels will be placed at entrances in Hibschman Early Childhood School, the Primary Building, Intermediate Building, Boocock Middle School and the Upper School. Students, families, and members of the Pembroke Hill community are encouraged to donate nonperishable foods and household or personal care items.

In a 26-county area in northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas, Harvesters serves as a community food network and regional food bank for 760 non-profit agencies. Your contribution will go to various food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters and children’s homes throughout Kansas and Missouri.

Last year, the school collected 3,546 pounds of food for Harvesters. This year, let's work as a community to do even better! Together, we can continue to fight hunger and food insecurity in the community.
