The middle school MathCounts team competed Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Western Chapter Competition. Alice Chen earned sixth place, and Jason Wei secured eighth place. 

In addition, Mehrunisa Pflyuk competed in the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics-sponsored MathLeague contest Jan. 23. She placed first in the Target Round, third in the Spring Round and second place overall. Mehrunisa qualified for the State MathLeague contest March 11 in Ballwin, Mo.
