Pembroke Hill welcomes Barb Head as director of development effective Aug. 1.
Barb comes to Pembroke Hill with a wealth of development experience in senior positions at several Kansas City area institutions. At the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Barb served in a variety of roles including assistant vice chancellor for advancement and assistant vice chancellor for campaign planning. She has also been associated with the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art as senior development officer for individual and major gifts; KU Endowment Association as assistant vice president, constituent development; and the University of Kansas Health System as senior director, major gifts.
“I am very excited to work with Barb,” explained Brad Shelley, head of school, “because of her extensive experience in the development world, and her familiarity with members of our school community as well as the greater Kansas City area.”
Barb holds both a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a law degree from Washburn University.
