PHS Welcomes New Winter Cheerleading Coach
Andrew Mouzin

P-H-S! P-H-S! Upper school winter cheerleaders have a new head coach, Emma Davis! A member of the Avila University Glitter Girls Dance team for four years, she was also a two-time Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) All-American Cheerleader while at Bishop LeBlond High School and performed on the school's state champion dance team in 2014. Emma is currently a registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit at the University of Kansas Hospital. She holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Avila.

"Emma has a tremendous amount of experience in cheerleading from her high school and collegiate career," athletic director Sharon Cole said. "She's very energetic, and the cheer squad is going to learn a lot from her."

Emma said, "I am extremely excited to be a part of PHS and help lead these talented girls into becoming confident women."
