The month of November is traditionally geared toward giving back and helping people in our community. The Pembroke Hill this year will host a school-wide drive for Harvesters from Nov. 2 - 24. Harvesters bins will be placed at the entrances of each division, with students collecting non-perishable food, household and personal care items. The school received multiple requests from members of the school community to provide an opportunity for students to help support local organizations in need. To consolidate these requests, the school decided to implement a larger, school-wide initiative to deliver a greater community impact while utilizing the school's Building Together theme to unite both campuses .
"I feel that in spite of, and because of COVID-19, there is still tremendous need, and we as a school have a responsibility to help our community," upper school director of leadership and community engagement Dr. Lisa Jackson ’93 said.
