Congratulations to senior Kayte Case for being named a top 300 scholar in the 80th Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS) —the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and mathematics competition for high school seniors. A total of 1,760 students around the country entered the competition this year, which is owned and produced by Society for Science. Kayte and the school will receive a monetary award to be used for STEM-related activities.

If Kayte is named one of the 40 finalists, she will participate in the final competition week in March (to be held virtually this year due to the pandemic). The top 40 finalists will be announced Thursday, Jan. 21.
