Sophomore Receives National Guard Youth Award
Andrew Mouzin

Congratulations to PHS sophomore Trinity Brown who recently received the 2021 National Guard Youth Award! She competed for this national honor with youth from all 50 states.

To receive this recognition, a military child must demonstrate leadership, resilience and serve as a volunteer on the State of Missouri teen panel (STP). STP members assist with planning, advocating and organizing a variety of activities, programs and events that educate and support military families.

Trinity’s care, motivation and dedication revived participation by 90 percent in programs after the effects of COVID. She led the organization of a Youth Symposium and briefed Wing leadership on program benefits. In turn, military children received resources that assisted them before, during and after deployment. Trinity serves as the voice of all Missouri National Guard youth and teens.
