The upper school Social Justice Club has started offering weekly bilingual conversations on social justice issues with a group of high school students from Toluca, Mexico. With guidance and support from upper school Spanish teacher Sandra Ortega-Lydic, 10 students from PHS and 15 students from Mexico join a virtual meeting, with the first half of the session led in Spanish, and the second half in English. The program's goal is to help improve the students' language skills in English and Spanish, while discussing issues and challenges affecting youths.
