The varsity baseball team took fourth place in the South KC Classic. The JV boys tennis team won the Northtown Invitational. Here is your Weekend Raider Update for April 18, 2022.

Baseball
The varsity baseball team brought home fourth place in the South KC Classic on Saturday, April 16. The team started the tournament with a bang with a ninth inning, walk-off home run by Spencer Hendren to defeat University Academy, 7-6, on Thursday, April 14. The team then lost to Pleasant Hill, 11-6, on Friday and to Savannah in a close, eight inning contest, 5-4, on Saturday to secure fourth place. 

The team hosted rival St. Michael the Archangel earlier in the week, falling to the Guardians, 10-0.

Boys Tennis
The JV boys tennis team opened the week with a big victory in the Northtown Invitational at the Plaza Tennis Center on Monday, April 11. The team swept all four divisions (A and B singles and doubles) to claim the top prize. It's the second straight year the team has swept the competition.

The varsity boys tennis team went 2-0 last week, defeating Park Hill South, 8-1, and Blue Valley West, 10-2. 

Girls Lacrosse
The varsity girls lacrosse team went 1-1 on the week, defeating Olathe, 18-5, on Wednesday, April 13, and losing to Park, 7-1, on Friday, April 15.

Boys Lacrosse
The varsity boys lacrosse team also went 1-1 last week. The team lost a back-and-forth contest with Rockhurst, 14-13, on Tuesday, April 12, and surging back with a big victory over Lee's Summit North, 15-3, on Thursday.

Boys Golf
The varsity boys golf team placed ninth in the Sedalia-Smith Cotton Invitational in Sedalia last Monday, April 11.

Girls Soccer
The varsity girls soccer played two strong teams last week, falling to Lee's Summit West, 4-0, and Blue Valley North, 2-0.

The varsity track and field team competed in the Highway 92 Meet in Excelsior Springs.
