Boys Lacrosse
The varsity boys lacrosse team went 1-1 last week. The squad played the top team in the Lacrosse Association of Kansas City, Rockhurst, on Thursday, April 20. The squad took the early lead on a Wade Boles goal, but fell behind quickly after that. The teams matched each other the following three quarters, but the early deficit was too much for the Raiders to catch up, falling 19-10. The team returned to its winning ways on Saturday, defeating Eureka (St. Louis), 8-4. The team has a busy week of contests, hosting Blue Valley Eastside and Olathe, and traveling to Lee's Summit West.

Four Raiders placed in the top eight to secure second. The doubles team of Trey Lambright and Buzz Stevens captured third place. Topher Thornberry and Armaan Yarlagadda nabbed fifth place. Adam Bell and Andy Greaves placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in the singles competition. The JV squad won the 22-team city-wide North Kanas City JV Invitational, sweeping the three finals: D. Bell/Liam O'Keefe, Luke Ryan/Rohan Raj and Charles Mann/William Mann. The JV team also finished second in its home tournament. Mann/Mann won A doubles competition.
