The varsity boys lacrosse team won in overtime over Northland. The boys JV tennis team won the PHS Invitational. The Parents Association - Raider Club presented its spring All-School Raider Red Out Friday night, April 22, in conjunction with the JV and varsity boys lacrosse games. Here is your Weekend Raider Update for April 25, 2022.

Boys Lacrosse
The varsity boys lacrosse pulled an amazing 12-11 overtime victory over Northland in the Red Out game Friday, April 22. The team also defeated Olathe (10-3) and Blue Valley West (11-3) last week.

Red Out
The Parents Association - Raider Club presented its spring All-School Raider Red Out Friday night, April 22, in conjunction with the JV and varsity boys lacrosse games against Northland. Young spectators enjoyed caricature artistry, face painting, a bouncy house and more! 

Boys Tennis
The varsity boys team placed fourth in the MICDS Tournament of Champions competition Friday, April 22, in St. Louis. The doubles team of Trey Lambright and Buzz Stevens won the doubles title with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Ladue in the final. During the week, the squad defeated Shawnee Mission East, 7-1.

The JV boys tennis team won its JV Invitational Wednesday, April 20. The team won all four events, A and B singles and A and B doubles.

Boys Golf
The varsity boys golf team finished in seventh place out of 19 teams in Jefferson City on Monday, April 18.

The team played Barstow on Wednesday, April 20, but the match was suspended due to rain. 

Girls Lacrosse
The varsity girls lacrosse team went 1-1 last week, defeating Lee's Summit, 19-8, on Tuesday, April 19, and falling to Lee's Summit North, 13-9, on Thursday, April 21.

Girls Soccer
The varsity girls soccer team also went 1-1 last week, with a 1-0 victory over Lawrence on Monday, April 18, and falling to Bishop Miege the following day, 1-0.

Ellie Staker scored the goal against Lawrence, and Kirsten Jordan-Hyde secured the shutout.

Baseball
The varsity baseball defeated Dominican (Wisc.), 7-6, on Saturday, April 23. The team fell to Rockhurst earlier in the week, 16-1, and to Bishop Ward, 12-0.

Track and Field
The varsity track and field team competed in the Mineral Water Classic on Friday, April 22. The team took sixth place out of 13 teams.
