Eleven members of the girls swimming and diving team will compete in the Missouri Class 1 state meet this weekend. The varsity boys basketball extended its unbeaten record to 10-0. The girls basketball team was also in action last week. Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Girls Swimming and Diving
Congratulations to our 11 swimmers and divers who will be competing in the Class 1 State Championships Saturday, Feb. 20, at the St. Peters (Mo.) Rec-Plex. Senior Gaby Bortnick will compete in the diving competition; junior Ella Palmet will swim in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke events; and swimmers on the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle and 400-freestyle relay teams will contend at the tournament.

The upper school boys basketball team celebrated its seniors Friday night, Feb. 12, prior to the varsity game against Hogan Prep (click here to see photos from the night). The Raiders remained undefeated on the year (10-0), as they defeated the Rams, 55-48. Sophomore Devin Conley led the team with 16 points, and senior Liam Weaver chipped in 13 points for the Raiders.The team puts its undefeated streak on the line Thursday, Feb. 18, in a home matchup against Park Hill South.
The varsity girls basketball team battled Notre Dame de Sion last Tuesday, Feb. 9. The squad led at halftime, 22-20, but ultimately fell to the Storm, 51-43. The team hosts Blue Valley tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Phillips Gym.
