The varsity boys and girls basketball teams came away with victories last week. Several middle school teams were in action on Saturday, Jan. 8. The boys basketball squad is up for KCTV5 Hy-Vee Team of the Week. Here is your Weekend Raider Update for Jan. 10, 2022.

Boys Basketball
The varsity boys basketball team began the new year with big win over Summit Christian Academy (SCA), 57-28, on Thursday, Jan. 6. Devin Conley scored 16 points, and Andrew Kim added 11 points. The JV squad lost to SCA, 72-48. The team plays in the Pleasant Hill Tournament this week as the top seed.

Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team upended Summit Christian Academy, 40-25, on Friday, Jan. 7. The team also plays in the Pleasant Hill Tournament this week as the four seed.
