Ways to Give

Gifts to Pembroke Hill School are made by parents, grandparents, alumni, heads of school, board members, teachers, administrators, corporations, foundations, friends of the school and occasionally a current student! All gifts benefit Pembroke Hill School students today and tomorrow!

Cash

Pay by credit card on our secure online donation form. Annual fund gifts are used during the school year in which they are received. Choose between a one-time gift, monthly recurring gift or a pledge. Pledges may be paid in installments or all at once, any time before June 30 of the current academic year.

Securities and Real Estate

Appreciated assets, including stocks, bonds or real estate, offers an easy and tax-efficient way to make a lasting gift to Pembroke Hill School. Please consult your tax adviser for information regarding your own personal situation. If you would like to make a gift with securities, please notify Molly Sova at msova@pembrokehill.org or 816-936-1222.

Endowment Gifts

Pembroke Hill's $46 million endowment functions as a permanent financial resource from which only a part of the income is spent annually. Endowment gifts can be made to the General Endowment Fund or to a named endowed fund.

Planned Gifts

Estate gifts have long been an important source of support providing for Pembroke Hill’s continued strength. Gifts can be directed toward specific operations of the school at the donor’s request. Planned gifts may include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, retirement assets, real estate gifts, gifts of life insurance or IRA charitable rollovers.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations match employee or retiree charitable donations. Matching gifts from corporations and foundations are an important source of Annual Fund revenue. Such gifts are an excellent opportunity for donors to increase the amount of their contribution. Contact your Human Resources Department to obtain the appropriate forms. You will be recognized for the total of your contribution plus the matching gift.
